The Quilting Bee was born Oct. 2006 due to the lack of quality fabric & quality notions to be found in Worcester.

Wanda is the owner/ teacher who started quilting with her grandmother as a child and strayed from it until her early 20's.  She got back into it by taking formal classes and found it relaxing.  As the evolution of quicker and easier methods came about she was hooked and now loves about any gadget that makes life easier.  She also has her Master Seamstress certification from the URI extension program.

Maureen  started cutting out templates using cardboard & scissors in the 1950's and continued doing that through the 1960's.  She got married in 1970 and started quilting on her own.  She took classes at Night Life and has continued to take classes to the present, to keep up with all the latest techniques and gadgets that make quilting quicker and easier.
